Ain't No Party Like a Taylormade Party
The Taylormade Band hails from Northeast Louisiana (Bastrop), and is headed by Mark "Mr. Taylormade" Taylor, Jr. This multi-talented, award winning band leader is the grandson of the late, great legend, Po' Henry Dorsey from the Delta Blues duo Po' Henry and Tookie.
Mr. Taylormade has performed for the Louisiana Grammy Association, the Black Chamber of Commerce of Monroe, LA, Music Prize Fest, and the NELA Music Awards, to name but a few. He has also been called upon to work with many prestigious artists such as Keke Wyatt, Kim Burrell, Ro James, DK Harrell, Robert Finley, and many more. The Taylormade Band had the privilege of being the opening act for the Grammy nominated RnB star Tank, on his passage through Monroe, LA.
Mr. Taylormade's works have led him to be nominated repeatedly for the Sound Awards, the Best of the ArkLaMiss Award, and the NELA Music Awards. In 2023, he took home the NELA 'Best RnB Artist ' Award. 2024 saw Mr. Taylormade co-hosting the NELA Awards along side country giants Kix Brooks, Brianna Calhoun and Chauncie Neal. The Taylormade Band had the honor of closing out the show after winning 4 awards (Entertainer of the Year, Best RnB Artist, Best Blues Artist and Best Cover Band).
Mr. Taylormade's rising acclaim led to a victory at the 2024 Ouachita River Blues Society (ORBS) Blues Challenge. He went on to represent Northeast Louisiana at the 2025 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. There, he competed with over 200 international Blues artists. His talent was on full display and saw him advance to the semi-finals.
Over the years, Mr. Taylormade has created his unique brand of entertainment which fuses hard-hitting grooves, tight vocal harmonies, and mind-blowing solos combined with non-stop energy. Each member of the group is a multi-instrumentalist and together they play all genres of music from Funk, Soul, RnB, Rock, Pop and Blues. Audiences around the country have raved about this band's performances and entertainment value, as they not only produce original music, but also awesome mashup covers from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, The Gap Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, and other greats.

The aim of Mr. Taylormade and the Taylormade Band is to take the audience on a musical journey. Each band member believes that music can bring people together and create meaningful experiences. No matter the size of the venue or the type of event, The Taylormade Band is guaranteed to have the crowd dancing and singing all night long to the best sounds around. Thereby, fulfilling their goal of conquering the world one stage at a time.
Looking to the Future
The Taylormade Band is looking forward to exploring new territories and expanding their fan base outside of Louisiana through the universal language of music. Mr. Taylormade will be re-introducing his 2020 debut album "Levels", while working on his new upcoming projects.
